Robs Cottage, 1884
Berrys Bay Studio led the Planning, Design and Construction of this heritage listed property in Waverton.
Spanning five floors and over 500m², this unique harbourside residence offers an expansive sanctuary just five minutes from the heart of North Sydney.

The home features custom-made, mill-finish stainless steel doors and windows that perfectly complement its "rural-meets inner-city" aesthetic. These architectural details invite you into a series of bespoke interior spaces designed for sophisticated living.

Five High, Kirribili - Apartment Renovation
Reimaging a 65m² mid-century apartment into a sleek urban sanctuary, High Five proves that compact living can be perfectly tailored for a growing family.

Through a series of strategic structural and cosmetic interventions, Berrys Bay Studio transformed the original layout into a bright, airy residence that prioritizes open-plan entertaining and functional city living.

Ormiston Cottage
Tucked away in a secluded pocket of North Sydney—yet just a five-minute stroll from the CBD—this cottage was completely rebuilt for its owners after a devastating fire left the original structure condemned.

Every detail of the reconstruction was carefully considered to honor the surrounding heritage conservation area, ensuring the new home sits in perfect harmony with the historic streetscape and local character.

Loft Apartment
In this bespoke renovation of a one-bedroom apartment, Berrys Bay Studio challenged the traditional floor plan to unlock a sense of scale and light. By strategically removing a portion of the first floor, we created a dramatic double-height void that serves as the heart of the home.

The material palette is a curated study in texture: original exposed brickwork stands in conversation with the warmth of Spotted Gum plywood and the deep, tactile finish of Aalto granite tiles. From the bespoke stainless steel staircase to the marble-topped bathroom vanity, every detail was crafted to elevate the compact footprint into a voluminous, light-filled sanctuary.

Billy Blues 'The Commodore', 1823
North Sydney's oldest house, 'Billy Blue' was the home of William 'Billy' Blue, a Jamaican convict who was granted land, now Blues Point by Governor Macquarie.
Berrys Bay Studio has undertaken the project management and Statutory planning work for an extension, basement and other alterations and additions to this property.
